Frequently Asked Questions
Can I choose my own panel beater if I'm claiming on insurance?
Your insurer may suggest a repairer, but in most policies you can ask for your vehicle to be repaired by Main Autocentre. Simply let your insurer know your claim number and that you would like us to carry out the repairs.
Do you work with my insurer?
Yes – we work with all major New Zealand insurers and fleet companies, including AA Insurance, AMI, State, Tower, Vero, NZI, IAG, MAS, FMG, QBE, Allianz, Ando, Cove and more.
How long will my repairs take?
Timeframes depend on the severity of the damage and parts availability. Minor bumper or panel repairs often take a few working days, while structural repairs or parts orders can take longer. We keep you updated throughout the job.
Can I get an estimate without bringing the car in?
In most cases, yes. Send clear photos of the damage via our online estimate form and we can give you initial advice or a ballpark estimate before you book an in-person inspection.
